A Texas Hill Country Treasure
A Texas Hill Country Treasure
One of four fishing access points on the ranch. Residing three miles downriver from Belton Lake, all species of fish living in Belton lake are also fair game to catch on the Leon River.
Guests may go wading and fly fishing in the shallower parts of the river. A nice afternoon toobing session will cool you off, or perhaps a kayak ride.
A true gem hidden away in the suburbs of Belton, the 10-acre Lucky Landing Ranch has 991 feet of Leon River frontage- plenty of room for 4 fishing holes and a landing for small watercraft.
The largest tree in the main pasture has a bit of an Alabama Supplejack problem. These sinister vines wind their way up the trees to the top, and block much needed sunlight- which can kill the tree. The vines have been neutralized but it is slow progress removing the dead remnants from the upper branches.
The horse barn and fire pit are still in the early design stages, but this area will be a common area where guests can feel free to meet up, swap stories, make smores, and a host of other activities.
